Navy inducts first anti-submarine shallow water craft Arnala
INS Arnala, an anti-submarine warfare warship, joined the Indian Navy. The induction ceremony occurred at the Naval Dockyard, Visakhapatnam. Chief of Defence Staff Gen Anil Chauhan presided over the event. He noted the Navy's shift to becoming a builder. The 77-metre warship can conduct surveillance and rescue missions. Vice Admiral Rajesh Pendharkar hosted the ceremony.
