ETtechElectric vehicle maker Ola Electric extended a warm gesture to rival Ather Energy, congratulating the company on its stock market debut. Posting on X, it wrote, “The EV revolution was never meant to be solo. Welcome to the bourses @atherenergy! Let’s go full throttle.”
Ola Electric CEO Bhavish Aggarwal also chimed in, addressing Ather CEO Tarun Mehta and his team directly with a message of support: “Let’s together make India the global EV hub,” he said.
In response, Mehta thanked Aggarwal, adding, “The Indian EV story is just getting started, and the two-wheeler segment is already leading the charge. Excited about what we can build together in this space!”
The exchange between the two competitors was praised on social media, with many X users appreciating Aggarwal’s sportsmanship and the show of unity in the EV sector.
