
The fight between Tesla CEO Elon Musk and the MAGA supporter Steve Bannon got intense, with Musk even abusing him on social media platform X, as per a report.
Musk's criticisms against Trump angered Bannon, who is a former chief White House strategist and close Trump ally, pointed out that Musk is a naturalised citizen from South Africa and said he should be "deported from the country immediately," as per the report.
During an episode of Bannon's 'War Room' podcast, he also highlighted the social media exchange between Musk and Trump, in which the US president threatened to cancel the SpaceX CEO’s government contracts, and Musk responded that SpaceX would “begin decommissioning its Dragon spacecraft immediately," according to Daily Beast.
Bannon reacted to that saying, “When he threatens to take one of the big programs out of SpaceX, President Trump tonight should sign an executive order calling for the Defense Production Act to be called and seize SpaceX tonight before midnight,” quoted Daily Beast.
In the podcast, Bannon also warned that Musk would turn to backing Democratic candidates and “help steal the ’28 election, looking to imprison President Trump,” as quoted in the report.
