Recently, Ranbir Kapoor's personal trainer Nam-Wook Kang spilled the beans on his fitness regimen.

Ranbir Kapoor recently shocked his fans with his new, lean physique. The actor, who had put on weight for the 2024 blockbuster ‘Animal,’ showed off his slim and trim avatar and clean shaven look in a meeting with the paparazzi. The video, which was shared by Viral Bhayani went viral and many fans gushed over his stunning weight loss and noted that he was looking younger.

"He's looking like a guy fresh out of college!" one fan gushed. Another remarked he had entered his 'Wake Up Sid' era in his 40s.

Ranbir Kapoor’s dedication to physical fitness is the result of a disciplined routine crafted by his personal trainer, Nam-Wook Kang. Recently, the fitness coach offered a detailed look into the actor’s intense workout schedule through a social media post, revealing how Kapoor maintains his athletic build and agility for demanding roles.

One of the most challenging components of Ranbir’s routine is the inclusion of clap pull-ups. This powerful move fuses explosive strength with refined coordination, training the upper body with a focus on grip endurance and muscular control. It's an advanced technique designed to enhance not only muscle power but also balance and agility during rapid body movements.

In addition to that, sliding pull-ups are part of his strength training regimen. This variation places heavy emphasis on the latissimus dorsi, biceps, and abdominal muscles. By introducing horizontal motion into traditional pull-ups, this technique demands increased core stabilization, helping develop more refined muscle control and upper-body balance.

Another standout exercise in Ranbir’s plan is the use of battling ropes, particularly through alternating big waves. This full-body movement promotes cardiovascular health and muscular endurance. By rhythmically swinging the ropes in alternating waves, the exercise targets the arms, shoulders, and core while pushing the heart rate for improved fat burn and stamina.

Ranbir’s lower body and core strength are further enhanced through the one-arm squat press, which involves the use of a kettlebell. This compound movement works the legs, abdominal region, and shoulders simultaneously. Besides building strength, it also promotes functional mobility and balance, which are essential for actors performing physical roles.

To complement his strength-based exercises, Kapoor engages in rigorous cardiovascular activities. His routine includes varied forms of cardio such as sprinting, high-knee drills, swimming, cycling, and hiking. These dynamic sessions contribute to fat loss, endurance building, and a lean physique that supports his on-screen performances.

As for his professional journey, Ranbir Kapoor is currently immersed in the filming of Ramayan, directed by Nitesh Tiwari. He is portraying the iconic role of Lord Ram, with Sai Pallavi taking on the character of Sita. Additionally, fresh reports suggest that Kajal Aggarwal has joined the cast as Mandodari, adding to the grandeur of the project.

Simultaneously, Ranbir is also shooting for Love & War, a project directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. In this film, he will be seen alongside Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. With multiple films in production and a meticulously crafted workout regime, Kapoor continues to balance intense professional demands with peak physical fitness.
